Our Process

Once you reach out, we’ll follow up to speak, learn more about what you have in mind, and schedule a time to view the existing space and conditions. We can also bring along samples so you can view them exactly where the new floor will be.

We’ll walk you through the process. We’ll describe the troubleshooting, the pros and cons of each surface you have in mind, layout start and stop points, what we look for post-demo of an existing surface in order to prep the floor for a new surface and more.

Once we’re underway, you’ll see Mark, the same person who walked you through the sales process, doing the work, along with his helpful staff.

Post install we’ll provide you a care and maintenance program for your new floors. We’ll always be at your disposal for any flooring care, repair and maintenance needs you’ll encounter throughout the life of your floors.

Maintenance Tips

Join our newsletter for seasonal care checklists, upkeep tips, and design ideas to protect and showcase your hardwood floors and carpets year after year.

A beautifully sanded but unfinished hardwood floor in a classic Knoxville bungalow, the pale raw wood showing swirling grain and delicate variations in tone before stain or finish is applied. Fine sanding dust is barely visible between boards, and professional-grade sanding equipment rests in the far background, slightly out of focus. Late afternoon sunlight filters through side windows, grazing the floor at a low angle and revealing the perfectly even surface with no visible scratches or swirl marks. Photographic realism, captured from a knee-high angle looking across the room, with strong linear perspective drawing the eye toward the far wall. The atmosphere feels anticipatory and professional, emphasizing preparation, craftsmanship, and respect for the home.
